Communication Study Center (CSC)

Madan Bhandari Memorial College has established a Communication Study Centre (CSC) to provide a forum for the students. The CSC is headed by the faculty of Mass Communication and Journalism and encompasses all the students majoring Mass Communication and Journalism in the college as its members.

The CSC has been organizing different interaction programs with communication experts and renowned journalism practitioners in order to provide students exposure and practical knowledge. It has been publishing wall paper Drishya regularly. It has plans to publish Mass Communication and Journalism related publications.

Interaction Programs:

The CSC conducts interaction programs in somewhat unique way simulating the Nepalese cultural practices. The chief guest (principal speaker) is entitled as the 'Vyasajee'. Sometimes there would be 'Upa-vyasajee' (Assistant to the 'Vyasajee') too. The chairman of the program is entitled as the 'Ganeshjee'. The organizers are considered as 'Yajamana'. Thus the interaction program is not taken merely as a program but a 'yajna' for getting knowledge.
