Madan Bhandari Memorial School (MBMS) is a junior wing of Madan Bhandari Memorial College run by Madan Bhandari Foundation. It is idealy located in Kathmandu metropolitan city ward no.6 Boudha, just a minute walk to the north from Boudtha Gate (opposite Siddhartha Cinema hall).
MBMS is led by an exceptional group of professional educators, trained counselors and Montessori experts who can dig out the hidden talent of the students and help children grow intellectually and objectively. MBMS adheres to providing a challenging education based on standard curric+ulum, consistent with the individual academic capabilities and personal and social needs of each student. Adopting integrated and scientific approaches and techniques, MBMS follows student centered methods which activates maximum students participation through discussion, pair talk, demonstration and role play in the different contexts. Children learn in conducive and friendly environment without exploiting their creative thoughts and skills. This system allows students to learn with fun and practical activities making the optimum use of all sensory organs while learning. It makes the teaching/learning permanent and effective giving emphasiss on listening, speaking, reading and writing as equally important skills.
On-line educational science and computer classes and the use of maximum educational material are some of our pioneering efforts of update and educate children in creative environment. Various workshops on personality development, dealing with troubled teenagers and many such other programs have been a source of enthusiasm for the children's education.
