Summary of Tracer Study Report

Tracer Study Report 2021 - Summary

The college conducted a tracer study of its graduates for the academic year 2021. The study highlights the employment status, further education trends, satisfaction with academic programs, and the effectiveness of facilities provided by the college.

Key Findings

Employment: Around half of the graduates are employed, with some engaged in self-employment. However, unemployment remains a concern, especially among BSc. CSIT graduates. BA and BBS graduates show relatively better employment outcomes.

Further Studies: Most graduates have not pursued higher studies. Those who continued are mainly from BA and BBS, while very few BSc. CSIT graduates opted for further education.

Quality and Relevance of Education: Graduates generally expressed satisfaction with the quality of education. BA and BBS graduates were more satisfied compared to BSc. CSIT graduates. Female graduates reported higher satisfaction than males.

Facilities: Library, laboratories, sports, canteen, and other facilities received only moderate satisfaction ratings, suggesting room for improvement.

Recommendations

Establish career counseling, internship, and placement services to support graduates.

Strengthen research, seminars, and workshops to enhance academic and professional growth.

Improve library, labs, sports, and canteen facilities.

Expand scholarships and support for marginalized communities.

Introduce more professional and technical programs to meet market demands.

Conclusion

The Tracer Study 2021 confirms that the college is providing quality education that contributes to the graduates’ skills and intellectual growth. However, reforms in employment support, further studies encouragement, and facility improvements are essential for better outcomes.
